We believe children’s potential should be understood and nurtured, families supported, and schools and communities equipped with the insight and tools to foster growth and learning.

Meet Christine Marro, MA, LPA

I’m Christine Marro, a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA), North Carolina, and a NC Department of Public Instruction School Psychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting children and adolescents in public, private, and charter school settings.

I specialize in individualized psychological and educational evaluations regarding learning disabilities, attention / executive functioning, ADHD, intellectual and gifted assessments, emotional and behavioral skills, early entry to kindergarten, developmental disabilities, social skills, and autism, as well as parent and teacher workshops, and parent advocacy in navigating IEP and 504 processes. My approach is collaborative, partnering with families, educators, and schools to promote recognition of your child’s strengths and understanding of their challenges.

As a military spouse, I also understand the unique challenges that come with frequent moves, deployments, and transitions for children and families. This perspective allows me to bring additional empathy and insight to the work I do with military-connected students in our community.

I serve families across Eastern North Carolina, including Wilmington, Jacksonville, Hampstead, Sneads Ferry, Swansboro, Richlands, Morehead City, New Bern, and surrounding areas.

I strive to create a space where families feel supported and empowered, and where professional assessments lead to clear, practical recommendations. I believe every child deserves the opportunity to be recognized for their strengths and supported in their growth.
